Karin brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to her work. Karin has a kind, warm, and empathetic approach, she has worked to better understand the human experience, advocate for proactive mental health practices, and de-stigmatize psychotherapy.
After graduating with a B.A. in Intensive Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, she continued on to Santa Clara University to pursue a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Health Psychology.
Karin’s training and background include working with individuals, families, and couples, along with facilitating skills-based groups. Karin has worked with people of all ages on issues related to anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, grief, self-esteem, relationships, career development, and life transitions. She integrates humor into her practice, making her a relatable source for genuine guidance. She strives to provide compassionate, authentic, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based psychotherapy.
