Lauren seeks to meet clients where they are by creating a supportive and nurturing space that allows for the client to share their narrative of their life. Lauren sees the foundation of client relationships to be built on trust and non-judgement. Lauren believes individuals all have the ability to reach their full potential and Lauren seeks to guide individuals towards a balanced and holistic approach to wellness goals.

Lauren is a Registered APCC # 12173, supervised by Elisa Dakiwag, LMFT. Lauren comes from a teaching and community mental health background. Her work started teaching young children throughout the Bay Area before shifting into the mental health field with youth from diverse backgrounds and their families. Lauren graduated from UCSC with a B.A. in sociology and minor in Education. She went on to earn her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. Currently Lauren is earning her certification in integrative trauma somatic healing therapy and her trauma informed yoga teacher certification.
