Ariel meets her clients with empathy, curiosity and humor in order to support her clients in delving into their self work and creating an environment where they feel comfortable doing so. She collaborates with clients to discover new skills and techniques to support clients in meeting their goals, processing trauma, and building a deep, authentic understanding of themselves. Ariel believes in the client centered approach while gently challenging her clients to dig deeper into their core beliefs and understanding of self in connection to past experiences.

Ariel is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist No.139085 supervised by Jessica Longoria, LMFT. She has a M.A. in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from Palo Alto University as well as a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Education. Ariel has a long history of working with youth as a preschool teacher before entering the field of mental health and child counseling. Ariel has counseling experience working with youth, adolescents, and families in community based non-profits mental health agencies, focusing on trauma, anxiety, and depression.
