Emily is a person – centered therapist and believes in the value of seeing a client as a whole person and not just as the disorder they wish to heal. Using a holistic and collaborative approach, Emily supports clients in cultivating a sense of ease, trust and understanding within their mind and body. She strives to bring her whole heart, curiosity and authentic self into the therapeutic relationship. Emily combines a genuine, non-judgmental connection with treatment that is based on science and is trauma informed. Emily is an anti-diet provider and adheres to the Health-at-Every-Size principles.

Fun Facts
Emily is the Co-Founder of SheHerdPower, an Equine Guided Empowerment Program helping survivors of sexual assault reclaim their voice, self-awareness and growth by discovering soulful partnership with horses. In her spare time you can find Emily practicing yoga, reading a book with a warm cup of tea or spending time outside amongst the Redwood trees with her family and sweet pup!
Emily is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Supervisor. Emily has a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University and is a State Certified Sexual Assault Counselor and advocate. Emily has extensive experience working in residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient levels of care with eating disorders and co-occurring disorders such as trauma and mood disorders. Emily has also has experience as a school-based therapist providing personalized mental health services for General Education, Special Education, and Alternative Schools. Emily specializes in working with teens, families and young adults.
